Website delivery and server logs

Technical connection data may include IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and device details, response status and transferred data volume. Hosting and security providers process these data for stable delivery, troubleshooting and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with our legitimate interest in secure website operation. Logs are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to required retention or evidence.

Email contact

We process your sender address, message, metadata and any documents you provide to respond to your inquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to pre-contractual inquiries concerning your own contract; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR supports our interest in responding to requested communications. Data are deleted when the inquiry is completed and no retention duties or necessary documentation remain.

Data and purpose

We process your name, business email, optional company and message, requested plan and billing period, planned cluster and node counts, and use case. A request identifier and the acknowledged version of this notice support handling your inquiry. The details are used to respond to your inquiry and prepare an individual pilot proposal. Do not submit passwords, API keys, health information or other confidential documents.

Legal basis and required fields

For inquiries about entering your own contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For business representatives and other business inquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies; our legitimate interest is handling the business communication you requested. Required fields enable us to identify and process a form inquiry. Providing them is not a statutory obligation. Without them the form cannot be submitted; you may also contact us directly by email.

The required checkbox acknowledges that you have read this information. It is not newsletter or advertising consent and does not add a separate legal basis for handling the inquiry. There is no automatic enrollment in marketing messages.

Transmission and recipients

Once direct form delivery is enabled, the inquiry is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the website server and emailed to hello@clusterpilot.de. Recipients are the people handling your inquiry at ClusterPilot and necessary hosting and email providers. The intended sending provider is Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA), which processes the form details needed to send the email. Direct delivery is enabled only after the service and required processing and transfer arrangements are established. While it is disabled, the website prepares an email in your email app. ClusterPilot receives your details only if you choose to send the message. Your email provider’s terms also apply to that transmission and storage.

Resend processing may take place in the United States. The applicable transfer mechanism must be established before activation. Retention and security

The inquiry is processed in the recipient mailbox and, as necessary, by the sending provider. This website creates no separate lead database. We delete details after communication is completed and they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention duties or specifically necessary evidence require continued storage. Providers also apply their contractual deletion and retention terms. To prevent abuse, required fields, request size, origin and repeated submissions are checked. An identifier derived from the IP address is processed temporarily in memory for this purpose; the form function does not log submission content.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority. Contact hello@clusterpilot.de to exercise your rights. No automated decision-making or profiling is applied to your pilot inquiry.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The public website uses no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. The protected preview uses a signed, necessary session cookie for access control, which expires after twelve hours. No Google Analytics or comparable audience measurement is used.

External links and international processing

Opening external links sends data to the destination provider, whose privacy terms apply. Hosting, security and email providers may process data internationally. Required agreements and applicable Chapter V GDPR transfer safeguards must be established for the services in use.

Subject to legal requirements, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation.
