About ClusterPilot
ClusterPilot is Kubernetes software developed in Würzburg, Germany. It helps teams control recurring cluster work and keep clear records of the result.
Who is behind the product
I built ClusterPilot from practical work in software quality, Kubernetes automation and platform operations. The problem was not a lack of tools. It was the missing shared process between infrastructure, cluster changes, testing and handover.
ClusterPilot is intentionally founder-led. Questions about the product, evaluation scope and known limits stay with the person responsible for the implementation. We do not claim a team size, customer base or certification that does not exist.
Why ClusterPilot exists
Provider APIs create infrastructure. Kubernetes tools bootstrap and change clusters. Package managers install services. Test tools validate outcomes. The safe order, approval, recovery path and results often remain spread across runbooks, terminals and a few experienced people.
ClusterPilot connects those steps through one durable model: plan, check, run, record and recover. It works with existing systems instead of claiming to replace them.
Our principles
Product statements must point to visible behavior, documentation, tests or retained operational evidence.
Automation should remove repetition without hiding intent, authority, dependencies or recovery decisions.
A controlled stop, stable error and explicit next action belong to the product—not only the happy path.
