Questions before your pilot.
What is ClusterPilot Cloud?
A planned fully managed Kubernetes offering: ClusterPilot provides infrastructure, provisioning and lifecycle management within an agreed, qualified scope. It is not generally available yet.
Do I need my own cloud account?
No customer cloud provider account is planned. You request resources through ClusterPilot; the pilot proposal confirms the supported configuration and responsibilities.
Are virtual machines included in the subscription?
No. The platform fee and booked infrastructure are separate components. Compute, storage, backups and network charges are specified in your proposal.
What does an additional worker node cost?
It depends on machine size and additional storage, backup and network needs. Approved resource rates are not available yet; request a configuration-specific pilot proposal. Nodes also count toward the proposed plan limit.
Can I change my plan later?
Plan changes are intended. Timing, limits, prorating and any migration requirements will be defined in the pilot agreement; automated plan changes are not available yet.
Is monthly and annual billing available?
Both are proposed. The draft annual option applies a 15% discount only to the platform fee, with the full annual amount shown. Billing and payment terms require approval in the individual offer.
What happens when I cancel?
Notice periods, data export, access, retention and infrastructure deletion will be defined before a pilot contract is agreed. There is no qualified automated cancellation flow yet.
Are backups and high availability included?
No blanket backup, restore, availability or SLA commitment is made. These require qualification for the actual configuration and an explicit scope in the pilot proposal.
When will ClusterPilot Cloud be available?
The pilot phase is in preparation. There is no confirmed general availability date. You can submit a non-binding inquiry for a paid pilot project.
Will ClusterPilot remain available as Self-Hosted?
Yes. ClusterPilot Enterprise remains available as a customer-operated Self-Hosted offering, with its own installation and operations documentation. Cloud is a separate planned managed offering. Enterprise agreements and the separate Technical Evaluation do not define the Cloud pilot scope.
